Chemical Peel

Chemical peels are designed to help uncover a more vibrant-looking you! This non-surgical procedure has been popularized by clients seeking to look and feel younger, and for good reason. With three types of chemical peels available to consider, you can be sure that there is a “best choice” for everybody.

Superficial or lunchtime peel: This is the mildest of the three available treatments and best suited for those who simply want to take care of mild skin discoloration and/or rough skin. It can also be used to simply refresh the face, neck, chest or hands.

Medium peel: Clients who seek to improve age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles and moderate skin discoloration will likely want to elect for this procedure that penetrates the outer and middle layers of the skin to remove damaged skin cells. This treatment can also be used to smooth rough skin, as well as treat some precancerous skin growths.

Deep peel: The middle layer of the skin is targeted during this procedure. It is differentiated from the medium peel by its ability to remove moderate lines, age spots, freckles and even minor scars. Although improvement will be dramatic, this procedure is a one-time only option due to its intensity.

After all chemical peel treatments, patients can expect at least a slight stinging and a bit of light sensitivity. However, our care team will provide you with recommendations for creams and gels to reduce these effects and expedite the healing process so that you can see the full transformation sooner. Typically, the healing process takes anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on which treatment is elected. Follow-up appointments will be scheduled to ensure that everything is going smoothly, as well as to answer any questions clients have along the way.

Chemical peels are routine procedures that our professional staff will be happy to discuss with you. Chemical peels require a professional certification to perform, so you can be sure that you’re in capable hands once you’ve talked about the options available and chosen the one that’s best suited to you.
