Dr. Amjad Safvi

Dr. Safvi received his medical degree from the University of Illinois, School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Northwestern University, becoming Board Certified in Interventional Radiology and Phlebology. He extended his education to encompass laser, lipo, cosmetics and aesthetic medicine, and he is also a member of the American Board of Radiology and Phlebology. With over 18 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Safvi brings a wealth of knowledge to the field of cosmetic medicine, as well as a commitment to remaining on the cutting edge of treatments and procedures so that he can continue to give his clients top quality service.

Dr. Safvi became interested in vein treatments after he started his practice in 2005 because his specialty of interventional radiology dealt directly with vascular abnormalities. Varicose vein treatment as a specialty was just being developed at that time and Dr. Safvi took a keen interest in developing his practice to include venous pathology along with the arterial pathology he was trained in already. He became Board Certified in Venous Medicine among the first batch of physicians who were certified to treat venous disease.

Dr. Safvi takes pride in taking care of his patients and their families. He puts patients’ needs at the forefront and designs treatment plans to provide the most effective and quickest relief.

Dr. Safvi is married and has three young children. He likes to travel and see new places. He truly enjoys interacting with his patients and getting to know them and their needs. When Dr. Safvi is not working, he enjoys riding his bike, spending time with family, and taking care of horses. Dr. Safvi actually used to work on a 210 square mile ranch in New Mexico taking care of horses and cattle and can even rope steers.

What makes us so exceptional?

Dr. Safvi is one of the best doctors I have ever met. He is very down-to-earth, and therefore you immediately feel at ease. Having sunspots removed made my hands look ten years younger.
